Treatments
Fillers – Hyaluronic fillers such as Juvederm and Volbella are great choices to help with either the lines around the mouth (often causing “lipstick bleed”) or for lips that have lost volume. Our most common comment regarding lips is “I don’t want those huge, ducky looking lips”. We specialize in natural looking outcomes, with the focus on taking our patients to a point they were when younger, not “overdoing it.”
Line Relaxers – although no option such as Botox, Dysport or Xeomin is FDA approved or treating lip lines, this “off-label” treatment may be suggested and can be an excellent way to soften lines and even lift the border of the lips, allowing more color of the lip to show with or without the combination of fillers.
Non-Ablative Fractional Resurfacing – Lip lines are some of the most difficult lines to correct. If they are mild and superficial in nature, a series of three of our non-ablative fractional resurfacing treatments can stimulate your own skin to soften or correct those lines.
Ablative Fractional Resurfacing – A more aggressive laser treatment, and therefore more effective in one treatment than non-ablative fractional resurfacing, but patients must plan for four to six days of downtime.
Products

This topical product visibly diminishes fine lines as well as helps reduce inflammation after lip injections. We love it due to its long-lasting moisturizing effect that can improve even dry, flakey lips. If you put the product on before you go to bed, it is still there when you wake up in the morning!
