Revance® RHA® Collection of Fillers
Dermal fillers are a popular way to diminish signs of facial aging without surgery or downtime. Wrinkles are caused by a combination of factors — one primary reason being the loss of underlying volume and another being repetitive facial movements. We typically treat the former (static wrinkles) with dermal fillers and the latter (dynamic wrinkles) with line relaxers like Botox, but now we have a solution that can do both.
The RHA® collection of hyaluronic acid fillers can address both types of lines thanks to its uniquely resilient formula that can adapt to facial movements. This collection is the latest innovation in HA fillers developed by Revance Aesthetics. These are the first and only HA fillers that are FDA-approved for the treatment of dynamic wrinkles in the lower regions of the face in addition to static wrinkles.

The Revance® RHA® Collection
Revance Aesthetics offers four differently formulated HA fillers for easier customization and greater treatment precision. Each filler was designed to treat specific problems in different regions of the face. The numbers of each product indicate different levels of smoothing and lift:
RHA® Redensity™
The lightest weight filler in this collection, Redensity™ has been FDA-approved for fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth called perioral wrinkles or smoker’s lines. Its light formula smooths out wrinkles in delicate areas of the skin without heaviness or over-filling. The result is a visible and natural reduction in lines around the mouth.
The product is injected with a fine gauge needle into the superficial dermis, which is the top part of the inner layer of the skin. The results are visible right after injection and last up to a year.
RHA® 2
RHA® 2 is one of two intermediate fillers with a resistant but soft formula. It is used for fine lines around the nose and mouth. RHA® 2 is best suited for those who want to diminish mild to moderate radial cheek lines, nasolabial folds and marionette lines. It can also fill in lines around the lips, known as smoker’s lines.
The RHA® 2 filler is injected into the mid to deep dermis with a very fine gauge needle. The effects are noticeable immediately and typically last nine to 18 months.
RHA® 3
The second intermediate filler in the RHA® collection, this filler is ideal if you need more smoothing and tightening for moderate to severe dynamic wrinkles. Thanks to its more robust formula, RHA® 3 can provide visible lift to deep creases around the nose, known as nasolabial folds. These wrinkles tend to be deeply ingrained, which is why a stronger HA filler is needed.
Like RHA® 2, this filler is also injected into the mid to deep dermis with a very thin needle for both precision and patient comfort. The typical duration of results is 12 months and longer.
RHA® 4
This filler is designed to address severe wrinkles and folds and severe sagging. More specifically, RHA® 4 can diminish deep nasolabial folds, cheek wrinkles and jowls. It has a stronger formula that provides just enough lift and tightening without affecting facial movement. Deep wrinkles and skin sagging result from advanced volume loss, which is why a thicker consistency HA formula provides the best results.
The RHA® 4 filler is injected using a thin gauge needle into the deep dermis or superficial subcutaneous tissue. Like other fillers from this collection, the results are visible immediately and can last for many months and potentially over a year, depending on how your body responds to the filler.
