SUN SPOTS – Also known as age spots, liver spots, melasma, brown spots and solar lentigines. REDNESS – Examples of redness include rosacea, flushing, capillaries, cherry angiomas and port wine stains. These conditions are treatable with Cynosure’s Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photofacial. The device can break up pigment and decrease both visible red vessels and overall flushing reds by sending beams of light into the depth of skin at which the redness lives. Depending on the cause, most patients require two to four treatments to treat redness, with an additional maintenance treatment every six to twelve months. VEINS – Small blue veins or red spider veins on the legs are most effectively treated with sclerotherapy treatments. An injectable prescription product called Asclera causes the visible vessels to clot and be replaced by fresh new tissue. On average, 86% of patients are satisfied or very satisfied with their results. Patients typically need two to four treatments for long-lasting results. SCARS – Whether recently healed or an old familiar blemish, laser and/or microneedling scar treatments create a natural healing process that replaces the disorganized tissue characteristic of scars with smoother, even skin. This process is completely natural because the device stimulates your body’s own wound healing response. STRETCH MARKS – Cynosure’s Fractional Non-Ablative Skin Resurfacing Laser minimizes the appearance of stretch marks with minimal discomfort and down time. A Medical depth MicroPen Microneedling device can also create the same outcome. The devices stimulate collagen in the area, and therefore improve the unsightly skin color and texture associated with stretch marks.
